Ironwomen Georgia Miller and Ironman Ali Day have signed up for yet another challenge, to co-captain a legion of swimming enthusiasts offering tips, tricks and waves of motivation to their team.
Both Georgia and Ali come from Surf Life Saving roots and in their rare moments off from training and representing Australia at World Championships, can be found giving back to the surf community.
Urging all Australians to go swim and celebrate a quintessential part of Australian life, Team Surf Life Saving Australia challenge you to join them this Australia Swims, be it at the beach or the pool and help us lap Australia.

The iconic red and yellow flags have become more than just a sign that it's safe to swim, they're an Australian icon. Surf Life Saving Australia is a community cause committed to reducing coastal drownings by 50% by 2020. Every day lifesavers rescue 30 people and they conduct 451 preventative actions every hour, volunteering there time and sometimes putting their own lives on the line to help protect others at beaches all around Australia. But it's so much more than what meets the eye with this nationwide institution, from little nippers to high performance events, conducting research, coastal preservation and event international development Surf Life Saving Australia is there.
