Eimeo Point is a small, 60 m high, conical headland, capped by a small but famous hotel that offers spectacular views from every room. Sunset Bay lies below to the west, with small Eimeo beach to the east. A road off the Bucasia Road runs out to Eimeo and on to Dolphin Heads and Blacks beach. Eimeo beach (1107) is a 400 m long, north facing, low energy beach. The beach extends east of the rocks at the base of the point as a single sand spit, backed by a small, mangrove-filled tidal creek. There is one row of houses on the spit, which ends at the creek mouth. The beach consists of a 50 m wide high tide beach fronted by sand flats that widen to 100 m off the creek mouth.
Both the beach and the lake, for resort guests, offer relatively safe swimming, although the beach can only be used at high tide.
