The race to Tokyo is on!

Only 13 days into the Australia Swims to Tokyo campaign, and the competition between states is already fierce. With Team VIC currently leading the way on 1,936km, they have some tough competition from Team QLD, who are snapping at their heels on 1613km. The recent marquee events held in Victoria - Rip View Swim Classic and Lorne’s Pier to Pub, who had a combined 6,000 swimmers attend, have seen extra kms added to Team VIC’s total, pushing them closer to the top.

Teams NSW/ACT, SA/NT, WA and TAS aren't far behind, but need some extra kms committed to put them in with a chance! So don't forget to commit your kms on the Australia Swims website, with one participant from the state who completes the 7,154km journey first – and the state that swims the furthest – winning an exclusive travel package to the selection event in Adelaide.
