Moruya Heads 2537, NSW
Shelly Beach (NSW 565) continues to the east and is a 150 m long northeast-facing sand beach bordered by rocks and reefs to the west and the rocks of the head to the beach. Waves average 0.5-1 m and maintain a low tide terrace, with small boundary rips, which intensify during higher waves. A car park and picnic area are located behind the beach.
These three beaches usually have low waves close to shore, however be very wary of swimming out from the beaches as tidal currents, variable shoals and channels lie off all three.
