Birubi Point Beach

Birubi Point Beach

- 28 Jan

1 Anna Bay
Anna Bay 2316, NSW

Birubi Point beach (NSW 238) is a 400 m long southeast-facing sand beach bordered by the rocks of the point, together with rocks outcropping along and off the beach. Waves average over 1 m, and maintain three permanent rock-controlled rips. The beach is backed by a large car park, picnic area, fenced aboriginal midden and then the Birubi Point residential area that extends 1 km north to Anna Bay.
A potentially hazardous beach especially during southerly waves when three rips are operating amongst the rocks. Stay on the bar and well away from the rocks.
